How can I tell users to use and download open webstart automatically?

When you do an installation, on a mac, the installer should enable
an option to associate jnlp files with openwebstart automatically.
Otherwise, the workaround is not obvious:

Firefox on a mac (or any other browser, for that matter) will not enable you to override the javaws association via the "open with" except on a one-time basis. I made a video to illustrate the problem:
