Re: problem with different System/JNLP
I am a little confused. You mention that you have renamed the files and also the href. But in your last post the files are still called the same. Please make sure to rename the files on the server, as OWS will download the latest version on the server and use that. So only renaming the file locally ...

Re: launch Jenkins agent jnlp file via OpenWebStart crashed Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException:
Have you also changed this on the server. Because OWS will download the latest version of the JNLP from the server and use that instead of the one on your filesystem.

Re: Application dies with Invalid WM_TRANSIENT_FOR window 0x0 syslog message
OWS is basically a wrapper around ITW 2.x
Did you ever experience this behavior with ITW?

so there are many errors about the application trying to read properties which protected by the security manager.
Can you disable the security manager and test if this gets you further.

Re: problem with different System/JNLP
OK, I checked the JNLPs. They look fine. All point to completely different resources. Most likely the shortcurts get messed up because all 3 files are called "phxip_en.jnlp". Therefore OWS thinks the shortcut has already been created and does not create a new one. Also does your applicatio...

Re: Include JAVA not valid
This is a safety measure since we take the liberty to change the included JRE with any release without prior announcement. Thus relying on this included JRE for running your application is at best very risky. OWS offers support for downloading JREs or using pre-installed JREs. This is the only way t...

Re: Persistent file locations
There is no other location then the ones you mention where OWS is creating files.
So it must be a file created by your application.

Re: OWS certificates - How to
OWS expects all of the above to be java key stores (.jks) to your questions, this are the answers from top of my head. Could be that I forget about some details... 1. This is used for authentication in a mTLS connection (maybe there is a typo in the property name (h missing)) 2. there are also used ...

The order is SYSTEM then USER.
There is no way to block either one of them.
But you can point them to the same file effectively making them the same

Re: OWS certificates - How to
OWS will look in different locations for certificates. it distinguishes between system and user level. The default location for the user level is "[user]\.config\icedtea-web\security\" and the default for the system is "[JVM]\jre\lib\security\". Be aware of the fact that [JVM] wi...
